About Gibbs
Gibbs had incredible work ethic and loved to train. Most importantly, he had a truly golden temperament and loved other dogs and people. He was a moderate dog with nicely balanced movement with nice side-gait. Gibbs had a pleasing head & soft expression, balanced front to rear with nice angles and was short coupled. Gibbs had a strong topline that was level both stacked or on the move-- even at age 12.5. He carried a correctly textured coat year round. Gibbs stood at 23.5 inches at the withers and weighed in at about 68 lbs.

Gibbs finished his AKC Championship with a 4 point Specialty win at the Greater Pittsburgh GRC under judge Nena Dee on June 20, 2013. He had garnered several wins over top handlers with Melissa on the lead. Gibbs and Melissa went on to win 15 points and two major wins to finish his AKC Championship! Gibbs finished his Beginner Novice title with scores in the 190's.
Gibbs took a Sporting Group 4th his first time out as a Special with Melissa on the lead!
He was about half-way to his Grand Championship with very limited showing.
