About Gibbs
Gibbs has incredible work ethic and loves to train. Most importantly, he has a truly golden temperament and loves other dogs and people. He is a moderate dog with nicely balanced movement with nice side-gait. Gibbs has a pleasing head & soft expression, is balanced front to rear with nice angles and is short coupled. Gibbs has a strong topline that is level both stacked or on the move. He carries a correctly textured coat year round. Gibbs stands at 23.5 inches at the withers and weighs in at about 68 lbs.

Gibbs finished his AKC Championship with a 4 point Specialty win at the Greater Pittsburgh GRC under judge Nena Dee on June 20, 2013. He has garnered several wins over top handlers with Melissa on the lead. Gibbs's first 2 points were put on by handler Coleen McGee by going WD, BOW, and Best of Breed over specials under judge Michael Dachel. Since then, Melissa handled Gibbs to his next 15 points and two major wins -- Entirely owner handled to his CH! We expect big things from Gibbs as he matures. Gibbs recently finished his Beginner Novice title with scores in the 190's. He just earned his last leg (and an extra) to finish his Rally Excellent title at the Pittsburgh Specialty. We hope to work toward his Companion Dog (CD) title and pursue some agility. Several of our trainers tell us Gibbs is a very nice working dog who can go far. We're excited to see where the future will take us.
Gibbs recently took a Sporting Group 4th his first time out as a Special with Melissa on the lead!
He is about half-way to his Grand Championship with very limited showing.
